Huge Update on the Rumored John Cena vs Bray Wyatt WrestleMania XXX Match; Spoiler on Who May Win the Royal Rumble

Remember that report from The Wrestling Observer last week that stated that John Cena vs Bray Wyatt was being planned for WrestleMania XXX?  Well, a conflicting report from PWInsider says, essentially, that Wrestling Observer’s report is “old news”.

According to PWInsider’s report, Cena vs Wyatt was actually something discussed for the big event months ago prior to the WWE’s decision to unify the WWE and World Heavyweight Championships.  The original plan called for Wyatt to shock the world and win the Royal Rumble and move on to the big event to challenge Cena for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXX.

The logical next question is: “Why couldn’t John Cena become the unified Champion and still defend against Bray once he wins the Royal Rumble?”

Well, that brings the next issue with the Observer’s report, according to PWInsider.  The Cena/Wyatt plans were also made prior to Batista agreeing to return.  PWInsider reports that the feeling within WWE at the moment is that Batista will win the Royal Rumble and challenge whomever the champion will be at WrestleMania XXX.

This doesn’t altogether rule out Cena vs Wyatt at WrestleMania XXX, but it seems as if the WWE has much bigger plans for him at the show.
