Just hours after an upcoming home venue for Monday Night RAW advertised a “special return” to the WWE for Batista, PWInsider is reporting that their sources confirm that “The Animal” is coming back for a temporary run.
Las Vegas’ Thomas and Mack Center official ticketing website prematurely posted the following information yesterday:
“WWE’s Road to Wrestlemania will make a stop at Las Vegas’ Thomas and Mack Center on Sunday, February 16. Don’t miss your favorite WWE Superstars including: CM Punk, The Shield, Big Show, Kane, the WWE Divas and much more! Plus, see the special return of “The Animal” Batista, LIVE! WWE offers the best value in entertainment, with tickets starting at $20. Also, don’t miss your chance to take part in the Ultimate WWE FAN EXPERIENCE!”
According to PWInsider, this is far from an error or oversight by the venue. Batista is expected back for WrestleMania XXX season and could be making his surprise return as early as the Royal Rumble. The report goes on to mention that Batista is expected to stay with the WWE until he has to do promo work for his upcoming movie, “Guardians of the Galaxy”. The film is currently set to hit theaters on August 1st.
