Obviously this is extremely premature, but the WWE has their early WrestleMania XXX card put together and includes some pretty shocking running plans.
According to the most recent issue of Figure Four Weekly, the current WrestleMania XXX card revolves heavily around these four stars: Rock, Lesnar, Undertaker and Ryback. It’s being said that while a few matches not involving any of these four are written in stone, these four people’s spot on the card is currently all over the place. The main one of those four, The Rock, current has the WWE under the impression that he will skip the big event this time around.
In regards to the current plans are for these four guys should they all work the event, the main plan is to go with The Rock vs. Brock lesnar and The Undertaker vs. Ryback. The idea behind Ryback going after The Underaker’s streak would be that Paul Heyman’s guy at WrestleMania 29, CM Punk, failed to get the job done, but this year he has a bigger, stronger, more capable guy in Ryback. This match relies heavily upon Ryback getting more heat in the coming months, so don’t expect him to go away. The report even goes on to suggest that the WWE feels that if Ryback gets over enough between now and WrestleMania, he could be the guy to finally end the streak
The fall-back plan calls for The Undertaker to face Brock Lesnar in a match that has been rumored for years. The idea behind that matchup would actually be the same exact reasoning behind Ryback facing Taker in that Heyman would be presenting a stronger guy to end the streak.
If The Rock does end up working the event, another plan is to have The Rock face Brock Lesnar, an idea they’ve been toying with since their feud back in 2002.
Another idea suggested in the report is one that we’ve heard whispers about for a few months now – that Goldberg would make his long-rumored return to face Ryback in a fantasy matchup that fans have clamored for months now.
Obviously this is all subject to change and depends on the schedule of a few guys, but this tells you that the WWE at least has a road map for WrestleMania XXX in place.
