BREAKING: Santa Clara, California Narrowly Beats Out Philadelphia, PA to Host WrestleMania 31

WrestleMania is on it’s way to California.

The announcement is expected to be made official at a Tuesday press conference from the Santa Clara Convention Center.

Levi’s Stadium, the future home of the San Francisco 49ers, will seat close to 75,000 people for the event. The Hall of Fame ceremony and the RAW following WrestleMania 31 will be held at San Jose’s SAP Center.

As we first reported months ago, Santa Clara, CA and Philadelphia, PA’s Lincoln Financial Field were the two finalists for the big event. At the time, a source told us that whatever event did not win the WrestleMania 31 bid would be the front runner for WrestleMania 32.

More on this as it becomes available.
