WWE is reporting that Dolph Ziggler suffered a concussion at Tuesday’s WWE Smackdown TV tapings in Raleigh, North Carolina.
WWE’s report states that Ziggler suffered the concussion while interfering in a scheduled match between Big E. Langston and Jack Swagger. According to WWE’s doctor, Dr. Michael Sampson, Ziggler was “having some memory difficulties and a bit of a headache.”
Ziggler will be undergoing “neuropsychological testing” and WWE continuing to monitor Ziggler’s recovery the next few days.
Dolph Ziggler’s ex-girlfriend Amy Schumer appeared on Conan earlier this week and once again discussed sex with Ziggler.
“We were very different sexually, like he was very active in bed, he was like moving around,” Schumer noted. “He was in such good shape. When you’re naked with someone, you wanna be the one brining the thunder. I wanna be able to whisper things like, ‘You’re welcome’ or like, ‘you owe me for this.’”
Schumer made very similar comments on The Howard Stern Show last summer, stating that “the sex was too athletic… Always. [But] the first time, I was like, ‘Oh, this is cool. Nobody’s ever ragdolled me.’ He was spinning me like a Globetrotter.”
Although Ziggler was never mentioned by name during the segment on Conan, a photo was shown of him.
Dolph Ziggler’s World Heavyweight title win was not a result of WWE re-writing Monday’s episode of Raw, according to PWInsider.
Multiple sources confirmed that the plan for several weeks was for Ziggler to cash in and win the WWE World title the day after WrestleMania. This was one of the reasons Ziggler had been losing so many matches, with the belief being it would create interest in those talents chasing him for the belt since “they can beat him.”
Original plans called for Jack Swagger to carry the title however they fizzled quickly following his DUI arrest.
Zeb Colter tweeted the following about Dolph Ziggler winning the World Heavyweight Title on RAW:
“Congrats to Dolph Ziggler who cherry picked Del Rio…and took the title. The only saving grace is that an American now has the title. Si!!”
“Del Rio knew that Ziggler had the MONEY IN THE BANK shot. He lost to an American…fairly. Ziggler beware. Now it gets interesting.”
Ricardo Rodriguez also reacted:
“Congrats Ziggler, just like you, we’ve used the MitB too. Just remember the target is on YOUR back now, I’d be weary of Big Urkle and Psycho”
Dolph Ziggler’s parents were in attendance for last night’s WWE live event in Syracuse, New York to see him drop down on one knee and give AJ Lee his pink arm band.
Ziggler said the fans were dumb if they thought he was going to ask AJ to marry him. AJ commented on Twitter:
“If you weren’t at tonight’s live event, you missed @HEELZiggler ‘s proposal to me on bended knee, in front of his parents. So there’s that.”

There is talk within WWE about how creative is handling Dolph Ziggler’s push. While he had strong wins over Randy Orton at Survivor Series and John Cena at TLC, Ziggler has been constantly losing on WWE TV lately.
He is still in line for a World Heavyweight Title run but the momentum he had at the end of 2012 has stalled out.

The current storyline where The Miz is being pushed as the “next Ric Flair” was originally earmarked for Dolph Ziggler. With Ziggler, the idea was going to be more of Flair being his manager but Ziggler was going to be given the Figure Four and doing the same gimmick Miz is doing as a babyface.
Regarding turning Ziggler babyface, it looks like those plans have been put on hold for the time being.

There has been a lot of internal talk about Dolph Ziggler’s future lately.
As noted, officials have discussed breaking Big E Langston away from Ziggler and AJ Lee but it sounds like he might stay with AJ. They are discussing this not because of a possible Langston face turn but because of a Ziggler babyface turn.
Vince McMahon has been changing his mind back and forth on Ziggler as a babyface but it’s more when and not if. A lot of people in the company feel that Ziggler will take off huge as a babyface when the call is made. The fact that Ziggler is already popular in the New York market is said to be influencing Vince’s decision.
WWE’s website has a new Q&A up with Dolph Ziggler from the latest issue of WWE Magazine.
WWE Mag: After winning the Money in the Bank Ladder Match in July, you shouted: “It’s about damn time!” It felt like it was not only an exclamation from you regarding how far you’ve come, but for Ziggler fans who keep waiting for everyone else to catch up with how talented you are. What was on your mind in that moment?
Ziggler: I can only speak up so much — whether it’s backstage or on Twitter and in interviews — and if I didn’t think I was this good, then I wouldn’t keep telling people to put me in these situations. I’ve been saying for years that I deserve to be there, and I value my word as something that truly means something. That’s why that came out. It’s about damn time that people woke up to what just about everyone in the world had already known.
WWE Mag: But finally, give us a little humility for once: what’s the absolute worst thing that you do?
Ziggler: I don’t listen … to a point where if I think something’s right, I’ll go ahead and do it anyway, and it’ll be the wrong thing to do. That’s what’s holding me back. I tell myself how great I am, but sometimes I’m wrong. Some people have been here a lot longer, and sometimes they’re going to be right, and damn it, I’m going to have to pay attention to that.
After WWE stopped taping Raw last night, John Cena and Sheamus wrestled The Big Show and Dolph Ziggler. The finish to the match concluded with The Big Show leaving Ziggler. Big E Langston came in to help by holding Cena, however when Ziggler went for the Superkick, Cena ducked and Ziggler hit Langston instead. Sheamus then connected with a clothsline following with an Attitude Adjustment to Ziggler to finish the match.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler will likely be splitting up for good soon.
Despite recent losses, WWE officials remain high on Ziggler as he’s the total package of work, charisma and his promos have gone up a level over the last month.

The feeling within WWE right now is that Dolph Ziggler and Wade Barrett are ready for the “big time” main event, Ziggler more than Barrett.
While Ziggler is putting his Money in the Bank briefcase on the line against John Cena at TLC, the internal feeling is that Ziggler will retain.
An interesting war of words took place between WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler and former California Governor and Hollywood icon Arnold Schwarzenegger. The exchange began after Ziggler mentioned picking up The Terminator’s new book. This has led to speculation among WWE fans that the two may be doing an angle together. Here’s the exchange:
Ziggler: “grabbing @Schwarzenegger’s book bc once i cash in my MITB World Title contract i’ll study his workouts for the media & movies im offered”
Arnold: “Good luck with that and enjoy the book @HEELZiggler. Appreciate the support.”
Ziggler: “@Schwarzenegger haha relax brother, i dont need luck & im not a fan, just a heads up, im on my way to being a much bigger STAR than you!”
Arnold: “@HEELZiggler It’s going to take more than reading my book. You better memorize it. Then do curls with it. Then you’ll be 1% of the way there”
Ziggler: “@Schwarzenegger whatevs! Youre living in the past! #OldNews IM the future & wrestling is like, the 5th best thing i do! SHOW-OFF”
Arnold: “@HEELZiggler I’d hate to see 1st-4th best things. You’re right, you are the Show Off. Every time I see you I turn the show off.”
Ziggler: “@Schwarzenegger good one, NOT! you & the whole world can watch what i do @WWE #MondayNightRaw I STEAL THE SHOW…& you know the rest”
Chris Jericho did a Q&A with fans on Twitter this weekend and revealed that he is currently working on his third book while touring with Fozzy and taking time away from WWE. Jericho says he has a title for the book in mind but did not reveal it.
A fan asked Jericho’s thoughts on Dolph Ziggler. Jericho has put Ziggler over in the past and this time called him a “future champion and cornerstone of WWE.”
