WWE star Tyson Kidd (TJ Wilson), who was dubbed a “workhorse” by CM Punk on his promo this past Monday, will be out of action 10-12 months.
We’re still working on details of exactly when this happened but Kidd suffered a fractured knee and a torn ACL over the holiday house show loop.
Kidd’s team with Justin Gabriel had regularly been one of the best parts of WWE’s secondary TV programming like Superstars, so this is a real blow to those shows.

“What happened to @Justin__Gabriel tonight is the fault of all the people who were tweeting for him to wrestle the #USChampion. #HIAC”

After giving him a non-title win over United States Champion Antonio Cesaro on last night’s RAW, it appears Justin Gabriel is headed for a singles push of some kind.
Before last night’s win, Gabriel had lost 12 TV/pay-per-view matches in a row. Gabriel posted a Tout video last night asking Cesaro for a title shot.

There were lots of timing issues at last night’s RAW from Oklahoma City. Word is that several segments were nixed and the backstage mood felt rushed. The opening segment with Kane, Daniel Bryan, AJ Lee, CM Punk, Paul Heyman, Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler apparently went around 7 minutes too long.
We noted earlier that a Justin Gabriel match was nixed 30 seconds before he was to walk out of the curtain. A backstage segment with Sheamus and Damien Sandow was also nixed as well.

* Epico and Primo vs. Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara
The winners will face Kane and Bryan for the titles, presumably at Hell In a Cell next month.
According to a report from WrestleZone.com, WWE officials have spoken this week about the possibility of reforming the Nexus stable.
WWE was shocked to hear the Nexus chants last Monday during the match between Wade Barrett and Justin Gabriel. On Friday, one of the top stories on WWE.com was a story talking about if Wade Barrett would ever bring back Nexus.
A source said, “the only reason for putting up a top story on the website about a glorified squash match, is to hear more from the fans.” WWE wants to gauge the general opinion and memory of Nexus from the WWE Universe.
There are two main reasons WWE officials have given thought to bringing back the stable. The first being they feel it would provide another opportunity to have Barrett in a lead role and they will be very aggressive in showcasing him to look as strong as possible. The second reason is the Nexus name and brand sold a lot of merchandise the first time around.
As of now, the current plan is to hear if the chants continue as well as develop possible creative ideas IF they were to move forward with it.
There is no confirmation of the group coming back but as of this week the idea has been put on the table.

There was some confusion with our correspondents over which matches were taped for what shows at last night’s WWE tapings in Moline, Illinois.
We now know that three matches were taped for Saturday Morning Slam – William Regal vs. Zack Ryder, Heath Slater vs. Santino Marella plus tag team action with Primo & Epico vs. Kofi Kingston & R-Truth.
The matches that were taped for Superstars were Layla vs. Natalya and Justin Gabriel vs. Antonio Cesaro. As noted, the one dark match saw Ted DiBiase defeat Dean Ambrose.
Both Saturday Morning Slam matches received praise on Twitter:
Derrick Bateman on Slater vs. Santino:“If you watch one match this year make sure it’s @HeathSlaterOMRB vs @milanmiracle on #SaturdayMorningSlam”
Matt Striker on Regal vs. Ryder:“Tonight I watched @realkingregal craft a splendid artistic piece of entertainment. I encourage you all to watch Saturday Slam this week #pro”
