We’ve noted how Jack Swagger has missed a string of recent WWE live events and TV tapings, including this week’s RAW and SmackDown.

WWE has removed Swagger from all events until the June 29th live event in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It’s worth noting that Swagger’s next court date for his DUI is on June 25th, just a few days before he’s scheduled to return.

On Tuesday, Swagger posted a photo of his hand with stitches:

Two Men Arrested After Stealing the TNA World Championship Belt at Recent House Show

According to a report by KCCI, two men were charged with stealing an authentic and replica TNA World Title belt on August 18 in Ottumwa, Iowa, which is when TNA held a house show in Ottumwa.

The authentic belt was valued at $6,000 and the replica belt was valued at $400, according to police. Both title belts have been recovered since then, and both Joel Luke and Forrest Jamison, were charged with second-degree theft. Luke was released on $5,000 bail and his alleged accessory, Jamison, was released on $3,000 bail.

Kurt Angle Signs A TNA Contract Extension; New Deal Gives Him A Part-Time Schedule

KirsvilleDailyExpress.com has a new article online featuring quotes from Kurt Angle to promote Saturday’s TNA live event in Ottumwa, Iowa. In the article, Angle reveals his current TNA contract is a part-time deal. Below is an excerpt:

“At the beginning there wasn’t much of a difference,” Angle said. “I came down here with hopes of building the program, which TNA has done an amazing job of doing, but having a lighter schedule, and that didn’t occur for four or five years. It kind of blossomed after I got here and we went from doing 25 house shows to 125 and one hour on TV to two hours. With the timing of me coming in and what was going on, they needed me to be full-time. My new contract is part-time.”

Angle signed the three-year contract last September.

Kurt Angle reveals 2012 Olympics plans

Kurt Angle stated on Twitter that he will be participating in the United States Olympic wrestling trials that will be held in Iowa City, Iowa this April to determine the team that will go to London, England for the 2012 Olympics.

“I’m Already Qualified for final Olympic trials In June. But I Will Official Enter Olympic trial Qualifier Tourney in April in Iowa! I’m Ready,” he wrote.

Angle revealed his Olympic hopes this past June. He told The Sun, “I’ve set my sights on this. There are certain goals I had in my life and I’ve done them. I won an Olympic gold medal, but last time I did it I didn’t really enjoy it. I didn’t have fun. It was more of a job and there was a lot of pressure on me. This time I’m going to soak it in, enjoy everything I do from the training to going to London and making the Olympic team, enjoying it and remembering the Olympics instead of putting it out of my mind.”
