Former WWE writer Andrew Goldstein named 3MB as the first batch of superstars that WWE should cut first during the next round of roster releases.
“It’s just like, you know, hire locals. Why do we have to trop these guys out? To me, they’re not so entertaining. Apparently, the redhead (Heath Slater), he’s very well-liked backstage,” Goldstein said.
“Every week, to see them get crushed by The Shield and then by Brock, and they’re like the new jobbers. They’re main roster guys and they have gimmicks, but they’re basically …” Goldstein said before he was interrupted.
Goldstein was an active member of the WWE writing team back in 2006.
Independent wrestler Gunnar Eudy, the son of former WCW and WWF champion “Psycho” Sid Vicious, noted on Facebook that his father has been hospitalized twice in the last week.
Eudy noted that his father went into the hospital today, adding that he had just been released from the hospital following heart issues a few days ago.
Vicious returned to WWE last year as part of the storyline where Heath Slater fought returning legends as part of the build to Raw 1000.

WWE’s website has an interview recap up with David Otunga from the new issue of WWE Magazine. Otunga was asked about the success of his former Nexus partners:
“I think everybody has been doing great. We pretty much are the new top guys of WWE. We’re all here now. Ryback just contested a championship match, and he’s got another one coming up. Daniel Bryan has been a champion before and Wade Barrett is well on his way. Heath Slater has his own crew now. I just filmed my first movie with Halle Berry.
