Official WWE App Downloads Now Top More Than 3 Million!
As you know, earlier this month WWE launched an unprecedented second screen experience, “WWE Active,” on its WWE flagship app, including the delivery of live match continuation, backstage content, live polls, photos, trivia and exclusive information on WWE Superstars and Divas.
For the first time ever, the 2012 Slammy Award winners were determined by fans, exclusively inside the WWE App.
It was a record-setting night for the second-screen, as WWE had the second biggest single day of downloads since launch with more than 151,000 downloads and more than 583,000 Slammy votes.
If you’re a fan of the official WWE App, than you’ll most definitely be a fan of the interactive experience of PartyCasino.com. Party Casino offers all of the tradition casino games such as Blackjack, Poker, Slots, and more. On Party Casino, you can even play original games such like Raffle Jackpot, Kung Food, Melon Madness, and more. It doesn’t matter if you play for cash or play for fun, as long as you play at Party Casino.
The app also saw more than 24,000 app updates — the largest single day of updates ever and the event pushed the WWE flagship app over the 3 million app download mark in215 countries, since it launched just four months ago.
The Top 5 total votes for all Slammys nominees were:
* Kiss of the Year = 95,581
* Superstar of the Year = 93,805
* LOL Moment of the Year = 81,131
* Trending Now Award = 74,386
* Match of the Year = 70,568
“WWE Active” provides a second screen TV companion experience that is customized for Monday Night Raw, SmackDown and WWEMain Event, in addition to a 24/7 platform for the WWE Universe on-the-go. Using mobile location technology, users can also order tickets to local events, watch and purchase pay-per-views, buy authentic WWE merchandise via WWEShop.com and follow social conversations happening in their area.

via MixedMartialArts.com:
With the show eight days away, who Bautista will be facing is still a mystery.
Bautista’s original opponent was Rashid Evans, whose main claim to fame is that his name would be easily confused with one of the biggest stars in the sport. He was given the lottery ticket of being someone who had never had a pro fight, but was going to get to headline a pay-per-view. The downside is that Evans was incarcerated, but according to trainer Phil Dunlap of Advanced Fighting Systems in Mahwah, N.J., they were able to get him released based on the fact he was given this opportunity.
According to Dunlap, Evans violated the terms of his probation, when caught driving without his license, and then panicked when police tried to pull him over. He’s back in jail and won’t be out until after the fight.
The golden ticket was then passed to Bruno McKee, a super heavyweight at his gym that also would have been making his pro debut after a few amateur fights. But days ago McKee, a part-time fighter compared with Tank Abbott, pulled out, from a combination of nerves and feeling he wasn’t going to have enough training time to get ready, according to sources.

PWInsider confirms that there was a recent settlement between WWE and the World WildlifeFund (WWF) which allows WWE to use their old WWF logo on footage. WWE made some kind of payment to the World Wildlife Fund. WWE is allowed to use the WWF logo and say WWF over footage as long as it is old footage.
For example, WWE couldn’t have a Legend come out on RAW next week, cut a promo and talk about how he used to hold the WWF Title and wrestle on WWF pay-per-views.
