Fox Sports Report Speculates That CM Punk’s WWE Departure is a Work

The big question many wrestling fans are asking today in regards to the news that CM Punk walked out on the WWE is — Is this all one big work?

A new Fox Sports story suggests that it very well could be and has a text from CM Punk to prove it.

In an interview with Fox Sports, Rener Gracie, the fiance of former WWE Diva Eve Torres, talked about his time as CM Punk’s MMA trainer and whether or not he thinks Punk could make it in the sport.  After mentioning that he knows that Punk has contemplated a run in MMA for some time, he says that he fully believes that Punk could hold his own.

After some more discussion about Punk’s training, Gracie (coincidentally?) receives a text message from CM Punk in the middle of today’s interview.  The text was Punk telling Gracie that he’ll “be in town in a few weeks” and he “wants to roll”.

Why is it significant that Punk, a day after he walked out on WWE, is telling Gracie that he’ll be in town in a few weeks?

Well, as the Fox Sports report points out, RAW just happens to be in Los Angeles on February 10th.

Let the speculation begin.
