Former WWE Diva Trish Stratus spoke with The Sun this week and says she would like to face Beth Phoenix.
“A match with Beth would be pretty amazing! I think she’s just awesome in the ring. As a fan, stepping out of Trish the performer, I’d like to see myself and Beth Phoenix. With all the teases we’ve had along the way, to have a one-on-one match would be awesome. I’d love to work her. That’s definitely on my bucket list. I’ve got a lot in me. I really do. Physically I’m at my best. One of the key things that made me leave was the fact that my body was just beat, but at this point I’m healthy and strong. I feel I could go back and take the beatings — and then some. I always leave the door open, because you never know. It sounds so cliché, but if the right opportunity presented itself I would obviously take advantage of it.”
Trish also spoke with Arda Ocal of The Score. In the video below, she talks about movie projects, the Divas division and more. She spoke about Eve Torres’ current storyline and Natalya’s farting gimmick:
“(The Divas division) is just lacking the development we had. Everyone is asking me about Natalya, and Eve, and how controversial the angles are and can you believe that in a negative way, but I look at it in a positive thing. Natalya is doing this flatulence gimmick, and there’s the hoeski gimmick for Eve. To me, this is just character development. Every time they are out there, the audience has a chance to connect with them, and get more invested in them as characters and performers.”

In light of her actions involving John Cena and Zack Ryder on Monday’s Raw SuperShow, Eve addressed fans during an unaired segment at last night’s SuperSmackDown LIVE! show. The two-time WWE Divas Champion described herself as a “woman of class” and that she does not deserve the angry reaction she has been receiving. Eve admitted to using Ryder but that she is no different than everybody else.
