Former WWE performers Perry Satullo (a/k/a Perry Saturn), Bill Irwin (a/k/a The Goon) and Greg Gagne were backstage visiting former colleagues at tonight’s Bragging Rights pay-per-view event in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is believed to be Satullo’s first wrestling related appearance since 2004.
The former WCW World Tag Team Champion seemingly disappeared from public view for a number of years as family, friends, and his three ex-wives reportedly had no information as to his whereabouts. Furthermore, due to the fact that he missed the funerals of two of his good friends (Chris Candido and John Kronus), and the funeral of his mentor “Killer” Kowalski, some speculated that he may have been dead. However, it was reported last November that he had been found alive and well and was residing in Albert Lea, Minnesota.

WWE’s creative brass had planned last week for Wade Barrett to win the WWE Championship tonight at Bragging Rights. Though the British wrestler ultimately won the match, he did not win the title due to interference from fellow Nexus member John Cena. Thus, Orton retained the gold.

There is said to be much frustration amongst the veteran WWE wrestlers not currently being pushed. Many feel they are being pushed aside due to the organization’s youth movement initiative. Matt Hardy garnered a lot of sympathy with his former peers as they felt that he was among the wrestlers company officials didn’t have long-term plans for.
Meanwhile, MVP developed heat backstage for moaning about the company’s younger performers being promoted ahead of him.

Abhishek Kadyan, an activist in India, is looking to serve The Great Khali with a legal notice for his absence from the Punjab Police in his home district. Khali has been on an extended leave of absence for a while now so he can work for WWE and film movies.
Kadyan says Khali is in violation of section 48 of the Punjab Police Act, stating that “No police officer shall engage in any other employment or office of profit whatsoever, other than his duties under this Act.”
The Great Khali has been nominated for “eviction” by one of his cast mates on India’s Big Boss reality TV show. Khali could be sent home from the show on next week’s episode.

NXT season two contestant Titus O’Neil accidentally posted an image of his genitalia on Twitter shortly after midnight on Thursday. He then attempted to cover up his miscue by claiming a hacker did it.
“Whomever is sending Inappropriate Crap thru and to My Twitter account PLEASE STOP!!” he exclaimed. “Its the same reason My daily post haven’t gone thru!!”
It should be noted, however, that his post decreeing the supposed hacker was made four minutes after the nude photograph was sent. More incriminating is that both posts were made via Blackberry’s Twitter app.
While the nude image was quickly deleted, a follower of O’Neil’s captured the entire ordeal via screengrab and is thus roaming online.

Regarding World Wrestling Entertainment promoting a “one time only” appearance by Triple H at their Fan Appreciation Day Supershow in Hartford, Connecticut on Oct. 20, some took it to mean he is “coming out of retirement” for the day. To clarify, they used the wording of their advertisement to signify that “The Game” was not returning to a regular schedule at this time, but rather merely making an appearance. That said, no one in the company broached on the subject believes he is retired. Everyone is under the impression that he is rehabbing his arm injury and will return to the squared circle sooner or later.

Paul Bearer, manager of WWE World Heavyweight Champion Kane, appeared today on Right After Wrestling on SIRIUS Radio 98. Speaking about his gastric bypass surgery he had this to say:
“I’ve always been heavy, in fact I was morbidly obese (before WrestleMania 20) And Vince McMahon picked up the $35,000 tab for the gastric bypass surgery. There’s no doubt in my mind, if I didn’t have that surgery, I wouldn’t be here today, I would have died long before my wife did.
“When my wife was first diagnosed with cancer in 2001, Vince and Linda and company were always there for me. When my wife passed away, they were reaching out and taking care of me.”

WWE released the following statement on their website last night:
WWE defends itself
Written: October 20, 2010
Due to what the WWE considers malicious and misleading attacks reported by some members of the media, the company on Monday began a global initiative to defend itself called “Stand Up for WWE” which has resulted in yet more false allegations.
“World Wrestling Entertainment will not be bullied or intimidated by whining allegations intended to censor our freedom of speech,” said Vince McMahon, Chairman and CEO of WWE.
WWE will fervently fight against any attempt to muzzle or trample its First Amendment rights. Our fans, employees and performers are united in this grassroots effort to “Stand Up for WWE.”

The Connecticut Democratic State chairwoman Nancy DiNardo has filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission to determine whether Linda McMahon’s Senate campaign is responsible for the new “Stand Up for WWE” campaign. DiNardo issued a statement earlier this week claiming that WWE was unfairly trying to get voters to vote for McMahon. McMahon campaign spokesman Ed Patru calls the complaint “utterly baseless” and says the campaign doesn’t coordinate with WWE.

WWE officials discussed Matt Hardy’s departure weeks before even granting him the release on October 14th. Some in the company wanted Hardy gone as soon as he asked for it but certain things slowed down that process. One of the main things was the feeling that releasing Matt would keep Jeff Hardy in TNA longer than his current deal calls for.
There was also a feeling that with Linda McMahon’s Senate campaign going on, they didn’t need a talent out there doing anything he could to get released. There was a bit of heat on Hardy for posting a video online of an unmasked Rey Mysterio in the background eating lunch.
People close to Hardy say that is is definitely headed to TNA and those in the company expect him to come in as well. There is already some negative attention on Hardy within the TNA locker room regarding all his odd videos that have been posted online.
There has already been talk within TNA of doing a Hardy Boys vs. Beer Money feud that would elevate Robert Roode and James Storm. Apparently Matt and Jeff are very aware of this possible feud also.
