Former WWE Diva Maria Kanellis defended independent wrestling after receiving an inflammatory message on Twitter saying she should get a “real” job rather than waste time in Ring of Honor earning “$100″ per show.
She wrote, “Were do you think your precious WWE superstars come from? ROH and the Indies making maybe a hundred. Working their asses off!! Hurt, tired, working 2 jobs, driving everywhere. These are my boys now and don’t you dare insult them. I’m PROUD of where I am.”
Matt Hardy says he and Reby Sky will not be appearing at the Extreme Reunion event on April 28th in Philadelphia. He wrote today:
“Just to set the record straight, @RebySky & I WILL NOT be at the ECW Reunion event on 4/28 in Philly. I’ll be in the Chicago area on that day. Didn’t want anyone to misinterpret my “I love Philly” tweet from yesterday. It should be a great event and I wish everyone involved in the absolute best. ”
Larry Zbyszko’s son Tim Zbyszko made his professional wrestling debut on Saturday night for the I Believe In Wrestling promotion out of Orlando, Florida. Zbyszko defeated Gorilla Hanley.

Former World Heavyweight Champion Vader has been announced for Night One of Pro Wrestling Syndicate’s Five Year Anniversary weekend during the first weekend in June from Rahway, NJ and Deer Park, NY.

Next Saturday on April 14th, Lex Luger is scheduled for a public appearance at an independent wrestling show in Tennessee. The Pro Wrestling Federation has announced Luger for their “Night Of Legends” show in Rogersville, Tenn. that will include Luger returning to the tri-cities for the first time in over 15 years, according to a press release.
Rumors of Larry Zbyszko’s demise are untrue, according to F4WOnline.com and PWInsider.com. The rumor originated on a Twitter account claiming to be the official account of Zbyszko. His legitimate account is located at twitter.com/LivingLegendLZ. He acknowledged the rumors Friday night, writing:

* This is my one and only real Twitter account so I want the spud head to quit LYING about me!
