Top WWE Agent Michael Hayes Suspended Indefinitely Following “Insensitive” Incident With Rosa Mendes

As many news sites reported earlier today, top WWE agent and writer Michael Hayes has not been around in some time and has taken time off of the road due to personal issues.  As it turns out, the reason he’s out actually isn’t a personal issue but rather a suspension.

According to former WWE writer Court Bauer, Michael Hayes has been suspended indefinitely by the WWE for offering alcoholic beverages to WWE Diva Rosa Mendes just days after she returned to the company after a lengthy stint in which she underwent treatment at a rehab for substance abuse.  Like most of you reading this, the WWE was shocked at his actions and deemed it insensitive enough to suspend him indefinitely.

Bauer revealed the news on the most recent episode of the “Bauer and Pollock Podcast”.  You can listen to the entire show by clicking here.

This is Hayes’ second suspension by the WWE.  He was suspended in 2008 for saying to African-American wrestler Mark Henry, “I’m more n—– than you are”.

As we reported back in April, Mendes was sent home from a European tour and there were reports of her “partying too much on the tour,” with one company source describing her as “a mess” throughout the entire trip.   Furthermore, it was not the first time that this had happened with Mendes.

Mendes, who just returned recently, was not allowed to return to the company until she went through a short-term treatment program.
